I agreeDepends on what they are guarding against! They may help keep a hawk from coming down and maybe not my two didn’t deter the hawk that got my Bantam hen. They were smooched up against the gate with the ducks terrified. Something with teeth and claws would take down a goose with out much trouble. Geese can put a hurting on you with their wings but that isn’t very much protection from a predator who is bent on eating them.
How could he not be. And that is a precious picture!! That is one smart boy to using all means necessary to get his ducks![]()
Lovely ducks. The big one in the middle with a yellow bill looks like a young drake. How old are your ducks?
