Actually the series I was thinking of is called Good Neighbors. It's about a couple who decide to go "off the grid" while still living in suburbia. They fill their yard with chickens, pigs, and garden, much to their posh neighbor's dismay. It is hilarious. I just bought the boxed set of To the Manor Born, but haven't watched it yet. Saving that one for bad weather when I can't get outside to play.
