The blackout ~ players needed!

After about a half hour, Dylan's group arrived at the long bridge. She kicked her heel lightly, urging cinder into a faster trot. She took a deep breath of the woody forest air, remembering the time her and her mother use to come out there everyday to pick flowers below the bridge to in a vase on the dinner table. She let out a deep quiet sigh that no one would hear. Ever since the blackout, the birds never chirped in the mornings. In fact, they all but disappeared. She never really thought much of it till now. A pinched feeling filled her gut. She ignored it and just listened to the rustling leaves in the stiff breeze.

Kyra noticed S eyeing her pocket, "Overprotective brother." she said simply, as if that explained everything. She took the crumpled papers with the directions from her other pocket. "Prove that I, we, can trust you and I'll give you these." She didn't realize she wasn't being clear about what they were, but she did know she shouldn't trust her this quickly. But she did, her gut feeling knew that this was right. Wait... her gut feeling, realization dawned on her. "You were following Noah and I, weren't you?" her tone was that of astonishment, not anger.

A Small smile split across S's face. She nodded. She was beginning to gain her confidence. "Sorry about... earlier." She said apoligizing for her behavior at the last revolutionist meeting. She jumped down from the tree. She let out a shrill whistle, calling for Blitz. "Ever rode on a horse?" S asked curiously. She was a lot of fun to be around as soon as she got past her shyness.

"D can be... pretty scary. I myself couldn't speak when I came to my first meeting. All I ended up saying was goodbye." She smiled a little, remembering that day. Her ears hurt when S gave the high-pitched whistle, she gave a small laugh, "Are you kidding? Noah and I have had a hard enough time getting food in our stomachs and finding shelter for the night. We don't have enough anything for a horse." she spoke the truth. "Do you have a horse? Wait, that was a stupid question. What's it's name?"

"He's named Blitz... It's German." S said simply, looking around for any signs of him. He should be close by because S had trained him to stay around the same area as her. She saw the undergrowth move slightly. And almost inaudible shuffling that was all too familiar. She smiled as Her horse broke through the brush. Blitz wasn't much to look at with a shaggy long coat and short stocky legs, but S trusted Blitz. He might not look like much but he could run any other horse to the ground, being breed for speed and endurance. He could also carry a lot of weight. Over all, he was a phenomenal horse to have as a friend.
