"Just... Conducting a few tests. But it won't matter. You'll all be off this world soon enough." Said June, a smile creeping to her lips. "Don't worry. You won't be conscious for much longer." She said. "We needed some more test subjects, and now we got them." She smirked. "Just to let you know, the blackout was actually caused by us. We needed enough power to generate the amount of electricity for the tests."Noah growled and lunged at the people, forgetting about the shackles. He clawed at them, trying to inflict pain on them, to know the pain he felt. He kept on clawing, even though he knew it was useless. After a while he stopped, panting. He began to think, and his glare turned into a look of astonisment. They were actually there. But what if those weren't them? He began to become a bit hopeful. What if they escaped, and are in hiding. What if they're just trying to scare them? But these were real, and they did scare him. He looked down so nobody could see him cry, but they all saw him anyways. But still... "What if they're not real? What if you're just trying to scare us?" He took on a determined face, but it quickly saddened. "Well, it worked." his expression became calm and blank, "So now what are you going to do? Keep more secrets from the citizens of the nation? Of the world?" I'm not going without a fight, he thought angrily, and neither did Kyra. He knew her. He could tell. His sheath hidden in his pant leg felt uncomfortable, as if it were wanting to be used. Noah wanted to use it too, just the timing wasn't right. He would wait.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light...
