The Breed & Egg Color Thread. Please Contribute!

This is Charlie, my GLW and her egg. It ranges from a chalky tinted color to an ever so slightly pink color (hard to tell in pictures) with white spots. Not what I expected my GLW to lay, but they’re very pretty!

This is my Swedish Hedemora, Elsafish (daughter named her) and she lays a decent sized (40-45g) tinted egg.

Gorgeous!😍 I tried hard to get a pink layer. Has not happened yet! Funny, my Marans is named Coco! I guess it is a common chicken name.🤣
It's a good name for fancy pants birds! :D The breeder doesn't guarantee her birds will lay pink, but it's in the lineage so I took a chance and got lucky!! She has lavender purple eggs from her Marans too...maybe someday!
