Anyways, I'm just going to let mother nature and mother duck do all the work. Ill just be prepared for if/when the babies arrive.
That really is the best way in my opinion.

Their so pretty and nice looking nest too, what are you going to do if all 9 hatch, planning on keeping them all?
Hope you can get good homes and please be sure to let us know when they hatch, with pics of course.I wish I could keep them all. I'll try and sell them through craigslist and our feed store pin board.I'm going to be real picky about who they go to. Hopefully they hatch after Easter and I don't have to worry about impulse buys. I won't sell just a single duckling, unless they have other ducklings similar in age. I feel like I might end up with a few of themOh well.![]()
I don't think she'll stay that long give these about 2 days after they hatch and she is going to want to get them out for food and water, you maybe be able to get her to stay a few more days if you put feed and water close. Once she gets up and takes the ducklings out she is through then take the rest of the eggs and put them into the bator.advice needed asap please, we have some Muscovy X KC eggs that seem to be hatching today which is about 5 days earlier than I was expecting. my situation is that we put some pure khaki Campbell eggs under the same duck 1 week later than the X's in the belief that'd all hatch on the same day....
question is, will the duck continue sitting until all the eggs hatch or will we need to set up an incubator?
Thanks fro the reply miss Lydia, what if we take the ducklings out that are hatching and put them into a brooder?I don't think she'll stay that long give these about 2 days after they hatch and she is going to want to get them out for food and water, you maybe be able to get her to stay a few more days if you put feed and water close.
