I know what you mean. I do my best to give mine lots of attention. I have put a lot of time and money into these buns.I'd honestly rather my bunnies die happy than live forever in a tiny isolated cage
They’re grey I think it was the lighting that made them look blue.Pretty bunnies! Probably crossbreeds, especially with the blue eyes.
Mine are running around in a huge bedroom they are loving life. I hope to make them a huge fenced in area that they can go in when we are outside.I'd honestly rather my bunnies die happy than live forever in a tiny isolated cage
Hi! I have heard that the best thing with new buns is to leave them alone for a week or too to get them used to being in a new place. The barking could scare them. If you aren't positive about their genders, keep them in separate cages. Bunnies love banana, you could give them a little bite. If you are concerned about the disease, keep them in.I am hopefully getting three New Zealand red rabbits tomorrow. I got their cages, food and water ready. Do you guys have any useful tips and tricks I could use to make their transition between homes less stressful? Would it be bad to keep them outside because of the disease y'all are talking about? Also I have a dog who isn't a fan of small animals, would his barking scare them a lot?
I have 4 dogs and they don’t scare mine. They have become used to the noise.I am hopefully getting three New Zealand red rabbits tomorrow. I got their cages, food and water ready. I so want to keep mine inside, but we aren't allowed to since our house is a rental.Mine are running around in a huge bedroom they are loving life. I hope to make them a huge fenced in area that they can go in when we are outside.
I have never given a rabbit a banana before. I will, try that.Hi! I have heard that the best thing with new buns is to leave them alone for a week or too to get them used to being in a new place. It depends on the bunny, one of mine was ripped out of his cage by a dog so he might be more scared of dogs than my bunny who was raised near dogs.I have 4 dogs and they don’t scare mine. They have become used to the noise.
