The Bunny Chat Thread - For Bunny Owners

My Mini lop Leah had 5 babies about 7 weeks ago, so we are selling them. Whats a good price, as they are pure bred and handled from birth, also potty trained
DO they have a pedigree? I have seen non-pedigreed baby Holland Lops go for $250. I got my pedigreed 9 month old Holland for $45, though. I would say start at $75 and see what happens. DON'T sell them for really cheap, they may be bought for reptile food. :(

I know, it's dreadful. That's why you have to have a good price or they will feed bunnies to snakes! This is not always the case. Some people just want a pet bunny.
It is not dreadful to be honest. I am a reptile owner and they need to eat. Lots of places feed feeders to their reptiles. It is the circle of life. I get that some people think it is horrible, but truly it isn't. Snakes need to eat just like every other animal in the world.

Please do not judge people who do this because they are doing everything correct for their animal, just like you feed your bunnies, they feed their reptiles.

I do not have reptiles that eat large feeders. I have lizards but they do eat Dubias Roaches that I breed myself. Some would call that awful or disgusting, but my reptiles are fed and happy. Thats all I care about.

I agree. Its wrong. Every bunnie owner hopes that there babys go to a good home. They are not pedigreed. We started ay 75, but may go down to 50 if needed...
