The Bunny Chat Thread - For Bunny Owners

Thanks! We have hay in a tissue box for them also (you can see it in one of the pictures) so there are 2 "hay buffets". Yes, they're litter trained I would say. Here's a pic of their "bathroom" area. They do their business in the 2 plastic bins (and also on the hay a little). Maybe I should get a 3rd plastic bin to cover the whole area.

Oh, cool.
I would use a large plastic tub for that area.

Have you been able to bond with them well?

Is this poop normal? He's eating and is active. I gave him some radish leaves yesterday maybe those affected his stomach

How many?
Sometimes they will have soft poos, or daytime poos. Just keep a close eye on him and make sure you don’t change too much too soon. Maybe give hom some extra hay and pellets today.
3 in litter box. Hay is always in his cage and I couldn't find any pellets here so he gets a mix oats chickpeas wheat and diff veggies and herbs. If his stomach is okay, I'll give him some clover tomorrow.

Bugs got onto my nerves today he escaped from his cage and hid in a place I couldnt reach and wouldn't come out it was really hard to lure him out of there and now he has even more trust issues.
To help him trust you more I would set aside some time every day to let him put of the cage, and I would just lay down on the ground. Let him come to you. If you want you can lay some treats around for him. Do this for about 10 minutes a day.
If he comes up to you or jumps on you dont touch him. He'll learn that when you're around he's safe and he gets treats.

This will also allow for some more exercise time too.

Ive been doing that and he started to trust me but then this happened and hes scared of me only when I'm standing or walking.

Itll take some time. Maybe next time you do this sit cross legged. After doing that for a while sit on something. Ince he is completely comfortable with that stand up. Then you can start to walk around a bit. It'll take a while but it will be worth it. The beginning is always the hardest
