Hard to be mad with such a good sport that would pick up a little wandering duck with a dirty broken down truck and no cell service on the side of the road!! No worries really, just figure out how you are going to entertain the little clutz you have AND his brother!!!!

Too bad you didn't snap a picture just as your dog was barreling through the oil to Poppy! lol!
Oh, if you could have seen me at that moment. I was yelling at my dog (making him more upset and moving more quickly away from me), and the closer he got to Popper the higher my voice got - total panic as I realized I couldn't do anything because Popper was 15 ft. away on the other side of this huge oil spill and I couldn't get to him.
I'm quite sure I was jumping up and down in total frustration, thankfully I'm not a violent person or I might have thrown something! (I was looking for something like a bazooka at that moment.
)
My family heard me and came running out to the garage. I gave quick, curt orders and everyone helped get the dog out of the garage and Popper into the house and tried to calm their raving lunatic mom/wife who was almost in tears over ruining the beloved BYC mascot.
I'm doing better today... a new shirt for him and he'll look much better.
Well, I thought I'd share with you all on how Popper is doing with his work around here.
He helped us feed the chickens...
He kept looking around for the pond to swim in! I had to explain that chickens don't swim. He thinks chickens are funny and missing out on some really great stuff in life by not swimming.
He helped me collect eggs... he didn't even break any!
Then he met the llamas and helped me evaluate who needs their feet trimmed. He's going to help with that later...
I asked him if he'd help me milk this morning... I had no idea that ducks are so clueless when it comes to milking goats.
No, Popper, that's where the goat's head goes...
No, Popper, that's where the milk goes...
No, Popper, you can't reach the teats from there...
That's it Popper, you've got it!
It took hours to get those two goats milked with those little wings... Just a word to wise... don't let your ducks milk your goats.

Chirpy, you should write children's books, you are so funny!!!!! With Popper being retired at your house..you will have to show us a new adventure every now and again, just because we love your narration so much!!! The "other" brother was mailed out today so he should be due for a pick up beside the road about Tuesday!!
I love the llama picture!!! That should be a "Caption This" photo!!! and I totally laughed out loud over this comment....

I don't even care about the oil spill, it was absolutely worth it for all your super story telling!!!! Extremely entertaining..makes everyone wonder what the heck that little clumsy duck will do next!!
