Actually it is priceless..wonder what the ransom is??! Hope he comes back to me in the mail at some point..with both wings too!

..in the meantime...I will be looking for an international replacement and Pringle Sussex will be getting him when I do.

I will highlight in bold TheChickenLady as she does have Howard (the one with the DH in the hospital) but Wally is in the New Mexico mail system

I bet I know where all the missing mascots are...they're off galavanting with that traveling gnome!!!!! I think I even saw Chuck on TV in the background when that gnome was roasting the marshmellow over the fire!!!! Lord only knows what kinds of wicked things that gnome has gotten them doing!!!! Everyone say a prayer!!

OMG!!! This is my entertainment everyday even though I'm not hosting one of the kids!.
LCRT! You are sooooooo bad. I wonder if they sent in a search team they would find that sofa in a certain den or living room???.
But SE: I certainly have sympathy for your plight but it is good for a belly laugh every morning.
Let hope that the captors realize all the work you've put into this and that they will release Chuck soon. I'm certainly keeping my fingers crossed that no harm comes to the little guy. Bless his wittle heart!

Hmmm, I'm #5 on Tom (or Tammy) the Turkey's list. Hey, how about Tessa the Turkey! (My daughter's name)

Since I don't have turkeys it will be quite an adventure for my duck and chick girls to visit with him/her. Since my lead duck seems to be falling in love with anything and everything, perhaps she'll take a fancy to Tom (if he is indeed a Tom) and we'll end up with some Durkeys or Tucks!

Well the latest word is that Chuck actually is the victim of a group that thought it was fun to fake a name and address and steal him...really silly and sad......I hear that Howard is on their list for stealing too, maybe the others, not sure but I guess it is a possibility....what is the current status of Howard..has he made it to Writer's house yet? TheChickenLady...are you home from the hospital yet? Is Wally in your mail?

We'll figure out a plan b ya'll, it is disappointing though...and worse that my saying that makes a group of people gleeful....

What jerks!!!!

Wish there was a way to verify the credibility of those signing up to host the mascot. I cannot believe that this happend almost immediately; that someone would be so childish as to "kidnap" not one but possibly two mascots!! Kinda makes you lose faith in society.

Does anyone know, not just think, that this would qualify as some sort of mail fraud or other criminal activity?

If it does we could (if we wanted) to get the authorities involved. We do have addresses that could be checked against the occupants names. We did have to provide a name when we registered didn't we?

Just a thought.

I don't understand why some people have to ruin other people's fun.

My DS and I was looking forward to hosting a mascot, but if this keeps up, that may not happen.

I'm sorry Scrambled Egg, that you put so much time and effort into something that was supposed to be fun, and someone has to go and do this.
