On a brighter not, How's Lucy?
She's doing great! She follows Pigpen everywhere and my daughter had her friend over who is terrified of any type bird. Well Pigpen followed Katie into the house and into the kitchen with Lucy right behind. I hear this commotion and go check it out. Lucy's squawking and flapping her wings, Pigpens honking, Katie's laughing and her friend is on the countertop almost crying. It was priceless.

You all are very helpful to me in this chicken experience and I thank everyone for all the input and advice. I have learned a lot! Now I have a problem. Pigpen is ATTACKING me and Katie's feet. At first I thought it was what chicken crazy said about our toenail polish. But even when we have shoes on he goes for our legs. Not with his feet but his beak. And it hurts. It's only when we walk. If we sit he's fine. But he will grab ahold and twist and I literally have to grab his beak and pull him off. Then he walks of "mumbling" under his breath. The head thump don't work any more. And he don't do it to my husband :( other than that he's still the same as far as sitting on our laps and plucking at our hair and sleeping with his head on our shoulder etc... Any ideas?

Hmmm...Is there anything your husband does that you don't? Like, does he love on him like you and Katie, or is he more stand-offish with him? How old is Pigpen?
