How cute and sweet! Great pictures... I know it can be really hard to get good pictures of active little chicks.

So Nardole the Brave attacked a fox Thursday night. I was fortunate enough to witness the whole event, and I can't tell if I should be in awe of his bravery or his stupidity.
He ATTACKED a FOX.
Thankfully, my fierce basset hound got ahold of the fox and chased him off before he could deliver the killing blow, but poor Nardole still has a very sore neck, torn eyelid, and cracked beak.
A bit of tlc--which he has behaved so well for, what a champ!-- and some soft mushy food, and he seems well on his way to recovery!

So my chickies will have some new sisters (hopefully all sisters!!) next week, and they will all need Doctor Who names as well.
There are 2 all-whites, probably leghorns
2 browns, probably brown leghorns.
1 black
1 red sex-link

I will tag one of each of the pairs so I can tell them apart, probably with a zip tie.
Any ideas for names?

A week after the fox attack, and Nardole is 90% recovered! Beak is obviously a little tender still, so mushy food is the norm for a while, but he can see! Eat! Drink! Open and close his eye! Crow! Roost on his favorite roost!
