How old were they when you got them?

My tractor supply the other day had 2 binds of barred rocks. 1 was pullets. 1 was straight run. The ones in the straight run bin were 100% boys. What a rotten thing to do to the uneducated.

No one seems to know. At least 3 weeks. These ones were in a bin that had STRAIGHT RUN crossed out and PULLETS handwritten in, so who knows what they are.

You can tell by the dot on their head. Barred rocks are sex linked. The boys have white dots on their head. Like our little boy Ned.

Do yours have a white dot on their head?

Hmmm. I would say a distinct white dot on one, and the other three are more mixed.
My expectations of $1 hand-labeled tsc chicks are pretty low tho.

That one in the back also seems to have a pretty good dot. Perhaps 2 of each.

Yes. I got her at 6 weeks. She is favoring one of her legs. I can't tell if she hurt it or if I have a B2 situation going on. So she is getting some B2.
