The Chicks are here!

Lol its so hard not to have them all x5!!:love
Right now i shopping for feather foot bantam babies(i keep finding more I like and adding them to the cart lol). I have one and she is the sweetest out of all 50 of my chickens.
I wouldnt even know where to start!
If it was up to me just get 4 of each one:ya

So far i have 4 each of
Partridge Plymouth rocks
Dark Brahmas
Light brahmas
partridge Cochins
Salmon Faverolles
Speckled Sussexs
Anconas
And Blue laced Red wyadottes
Might drop the Brahmas since they're aren't exactly the best layers i've had..

My Silvers are one of my best layers besides my leghorn Oh! Forgot to mention brown leghorns. thats another one added! Anyways i heard Wyandottes are good layers and Blue laced reds are cold hardy And a heritage breed to thats a bonus for me! :p They're also pretty cheap on MyPetChicken only $5.55 for pullets which is the cheapest i can find. Mind me asking where you order your chicks from?

oh...my....goodness
GIVE THEM ALL TO ME.

I strongly suggest getting chicks from here. Ordered 60 chicks and got 62 healthy chicks and just one with splayed legs which can be easily be treated. They also sell sexed bantams too!
Buckeyes are a wonderful heritage breed, Shiney mahogany color, cold hardy, and layers of beautiful brown eggs
I was looking at buckeyes and they sure are shiny thats for sure, I'll add them to my list thanks! Just wasn't sure if they were good layers.

I will have to look into them.
I have not placed my order yet(was supposed to place it like 2 months ago) because two of my bantams decided to go broody and i now have 19 new babies running around... and im not even home to enjoy them!!! :hit:hit:hit

And i feel like everytime i go to place an order more hens go broody and more babies start running around lol
I have a cart at Idealpoultey because i herd they were good and i could order small amounts of each bird (i dont need 10 of each lol)and the prices seemed fair for aome of the birds i wanted.
I havent really looked at Mypetchicken i will have to look over there too.
Do you know of ideal is good or not?

Do you have any Speckled Sussex? They were in my previous flock and were the prettiest, sweetest, funniest girls. Plus good layers and should do well in your climate.
I ordered 4 last year 3 ended up dying from a sickness. The only Sussex we had was a bit of a brat to all my lower in ranking chickens. Though the other three were very friendly before they died so i plan on getting more of them!

I've looked at ideal for ducks but decided the hatchery was a bit far for comfort. I'd suggest looking into https://www.mypetchicken.com/catalog/Day-Old-Baby-Chicks-c36.aspx They sell sexed bantams like Buff brahma bantys, Silkies, Frizzle bantys Molted cochin bantys and d'uccles (Just naming the ones with feathered feet ;) ) Although the sexed bantams are a bit pricey.
