The Chosen

"Do you have any spare weapons we could use? If we are going to be conquering 'monsters that will dominate the four dimensions', I'd like something stronger than my fists." Elijah said. He hadn't brought anything with him when he stepped through the portal. Smooth move. He thought frustrated.
Rex shrugged. "Sorry, there's no weapons here..." He suddenly stared at the floor lost in thought for a couple of moments, and then continued. "There's a few things I need to warn you all about. Each dimension is in a different time period. Here at Earth, we're currently in the year 2030. Food and water has pretty scarce due to pollution from.... machines. It'll take about a month to travel to New York, if we're lucky." Rex walked towards the large metal door and pushed it open. Keira walked into the bunk room, looking around the large room with distaste. The beds didn't look very clean.

Cari walked cautiously into the room, looking around the room filled with bunk beds. Though, it looked dirt and run down, she had stayed at places much worse to avoid her dad. She shrugged and found a clean enough bed, as clean as it could be, and sat down on the edge of the mattress.
