If the wood was in better condition, I was going to just stain it, but felt it was better to paint
It's white and will have green trim when I'm done. I'll try to get pictures later, it's drying right now. I hope to have the shingles done today. I'm debating if I'm going to take out the shavings, and paint the inside to brighten it up and make a shield. The paint is white exterior satin, so the coop really pops! I love it so far. I was thinking of putting something on the front about middle like either a flower garden in front of it with words above or something.
I have the page up to date. It's painted except for the trim, which I'm about to start, since it should almost be dry. I'm thinking of putting mulch around the edges so it should look decent
Wow everyone is opposite of me. I don't really like old stuff HAHA. I don't mind reusing, but a fresh coat of paint and new shingles was necessary for me
I planted some PRETTY flowers in the front, only 3. Also, there is composted dirt we bought a truck load from the landfield for $10 that i covered around the coop with. Our lawnmower is messed up, so this will keep the grass short, well actually it will probably kill the grass:/ It's all good though
They have a 30x40 area, I think they can do without a 6x10 area
