The common issue of too many roosters

After running full force into the life of chicken mamahood I was excited to name each and every chick. Now, three years later I still have trouble with Nina turns out to be a Nino. Hence is the biggest present issue... too many roosters. I ordered a number of chicks from the hatchery and ended up with 4 roosters instead of the paid-for hens. I attempted to post them for re-homing through local craigslist and I found a wonderful family for one. I still have 3 more and no qualified adoptive chicken parents in sight. Is there any connection on the forum that helps folks rehome purebred show quality roosters?

You posted in the correct forum. The reality is, hard to find others near you that need such roosters. (not to be ruled out)

Location is Milton Freewater, Oregon
Breeds are:
Barred Rock
Silver Spangled Hamburg
Cubalaya

I'm not sure how they can be show quality, if they came from a hatchery? It is important to be clear about their status when you are trying to rehome them, especially as people will travel significant distances for real show quality birds.

The sad fact is that there are no where near enough forever homes for all the unwanted roosters in the world. If you are unable to butcher them to eat or rehome them, then a bachelor pad is a good idea for the welfare of the whole flock.

I can see that if you take the words out of context it does not have the same meaning I typed it with. I suppose for the sake of this forum I should have simply listed purebred. There are certain buzz words that get people worked up in any arena.
I have seen many purebred chickens shown....but I have never attended the equivalent of the Olympics for chicken showing. There is clearly a difference there and that's just not my thing.
Furthermore it would be foolish for anyone to drive long distances for a bird they had not determined would suit their needs via pictures and questions. Especially if they are familiar with the breed standards.
It takes more than bloodlines to winning competitions. But I suppose that is just the difference in show circuits. I never said these were Olympic chickens. Haha
