That little coop/run fitting into the run will be fantastic for adding chicks.
Just add a few 'tiny doors' around the bottom of run part.

How well is that tarp supported?
Got a tarp friendly roof rake?
Are you on the lake effect side of the state?

The tarp is supported by a 2x4 ladder that runs perpetual to the top supports (2x6) of the run. I need to get some sort of rake for the tarp. We are between Lansing and Detroit- don't get too much lake effect snow here. The house is to the north, with a shed and large tree to the west so some weather is blocked. I got some boots just for wearing to the coop.
