~The Council Of Youngers of BYC! (COY)~

Oh well. Good job for managing to get through it though. :thumbsup I guess making believable reports is an important skill to have in the modern workplace (sadly lol)

Those pictures bring back the JROTC memories like a week old taco.

You guys sat in bushes with airsoft guns? XD

Sup' mah peeps?
Or, if you prefer: Salutations dear acquaintances, what are your current statuses/conditions?

I have three epically crippling exams on Thursday. In a row. Seriously, I am fairly sure all of my teachers get together and conspire on the fastest way to lose students. ._.....

(Edit* Nice pictures oh, random one!)

Have fun with those D: I just had my midsems for maths and chem - good scores for the yay. More of a nay in professional practise. My group has not started the sodding trillion page report which is due in 4 weeks and NOBODY KNOWS WHAT WE'RE ACTUALLY MEANT TO BE DOING. The excursion to the sewage works was interesting though :p

Yes, except it was just us guys sitting in bushes with ticks and chiggers.

So my ACT Prep class had an overall test score improvement on our English practice test, so we have a free period. Obviously, being the cool and popular person I am with lots of people to hang out with, I'm on BYC.

Fierlin, do you happen to have any brilliant strategies for remembering the rules for significant digits?

Good old sig figs. What kind of rules in particular? We did practically a whole term on data processing back in process eng (and had to skip two of the more important topics as a result - the lecturer 'resigned' after attempting to teach that course ;)) All I can remember now is addition and multiplication rules. Addition: result has the same number of decimal places as the least precise number, multiplication: result has the same number of sig figs as the least precise number. Pure numbers have infinite significant figures. Zeroes after a number don't count as sig figs unless there's a decimal point (200 - 1 sf, 200.0 - 4 sf). Apart from that all numbers after the first non-zero number are significant. Are those the types of rules you refer to? I can't think of any geniously interesting ways to express any of that drugery :p

Whoop! Moving to my old town in North Dakota :p
Funny thing about it
Last Tuesday is when the thought of moving from Louisiana to North Dakota was thought up between my dad and I
And next Tuesday is when I leave :p
1 week from thought to reality to move across the country!
