That does sound delightful. The Rheinland bakery's apple turnovers redeem Australia in this department. Your description reminds me of them. :drool

Sparklers are also cool. :P We had these things where little colours lights would shoot out the end of a tube. And you could point them at the sky, or trees, or people's windows. (lol.)

Bwaaha, everywhere has something like that. We had these absolutely lovely pastries called lobster tails in NY. Crunchy and sugary. Yes.

We do that! Although last year one sort of malfunctioned and decided it would just BOOM in the tube. Yeah... Towards the end we just stuck them in the ground. lol
