Oh God, I am trying to format it now. Word is killing me here. I DON'T WANT A FOOTER ON THE LAST PAGE. What kind of garbage is this.
Thankfully people here are a bit more courteous when it comes to collective use of the road, it's usually been me so far who's disrupted up the orderly progression of traffic.
You should, you'll see lots of cat and Putin memes (not together) and pictures of factories.
The people are the most epic part of it. I've made more friends through German club than I have through classes. (I literally have like five friends from spending several hours a day for half a year around the same group of people
They're all from last semester too, besides the girl I shared my knack for chemistry practicals with last week (I always end up finishing chemistry practicals like an hour early and get 14.5+ out of 15, despite the incessant feeling that a great oversight has been made on my part and that there are hundreds of places I would rather be.) She finished a practical early for the first time ever as well, it must be contagious. Teamwork on individual pracs for the ultimate win. (It definitely beats teamwork on team pracs, where the teamwork feels more like a burden than an innovative choice).
(we were recrystallising shiny stuff. There's a picture of it a little way down on my blog, a link to which is provided on profile page.)
You're finally into the fun part huh? Hope it lives up to your greatest expectations and you'll learn something interesting every day.
Many presents. It was like Christmas in August the other day. Trotsky wasn't feeling very generous though, and just mooched around under the trees while the young ones dropped bombs all over the paved area in front of the house, with a seeming preference for hard-to-reach areas such as underneath the table and the swing.
Ah, hard choices. Well I'm glad it was good for you. It's always nice to be able to afford things.
I shall have to see those photos sometime. It has been a while since I saw any wonderful landscapes of the natural world - even the picturesque creek at the botanic gardens is artificial and it's like a glorified stormwater drain. (The wetlands with the stepping stones are nice though.)
I bet the tent put up a good fight though, those things can be quite sturdy - although usually when it's time to take them down and not when they're meant to be protecting their occupants.
Hehehe, I'm sure the new kitchen will look great. We tore out and redid our kitchen five years ago and it was like someone had taken a wand to the house and filled it with sunshine and space.
I can't wait. Feed me every fascinating detail.
