I've met too many people like that in my life. Not to mention the fake ones who aren't actually nice, and just act all friendly and sweet and perfect to be covered in friends.

I've never thought about it, but perhaps they're afraid little cowards too, trying to hide behind a perfect face. They are just annoying for those of us who actually have the courage to stand up for who we are.
