The curse— RP

“I just make them see strange things and they’ll be focused on that” Anita grinned “don’t be anxious. Come on, trust me”
Crow still felt uneasy. Sure, the magic-humans- the gifted -he corrected himself, remembering their word for it- were powerful, but they weren’t invincible. At least, none that he nor the birds had heard of were. However overpowered some of them were, there was always a weakness.
The same crow that had been cawing at him earlier showed up and perched unceremoniously on Crow’s shoulder.
“Caw!” He screeched, right in Crow’s ear.
“Yeah, yeah, Jacawn.” He muttered, but was secretly happy that Jacawn was accompanying him. He squared his shoulders and followed after Anita.
