You cannot name your rooster Rover. Here's why.

When I was a little kid my mom had female cats named Fido, Rover, and Spot. One day she walked in on me watching TV around age 3-4. There was a commercial playing that showed a dog and was saying, "Feed your dog Rover X brand of dog food."

I muttered, "That's stupid. Rover is a cat's name".
