The Darklands:

The Darklands are a mixture of thick, heavy forests and vast deserts bordered on one side by a steep, rocky canyon. Small Tribes of creatures called Darklanders claim territory for themselves and their people. Since the Darklands isn't a huge area, territory is in high demand and the Tribes are often at war fighting over it.

The Darklanders are outsiders, most have been banished from their villages, and for good reasons. The Darklanders have the curse, or blessing of killing. They enjoy causing others pain and suffering, and it is here, in the heart of the Darklands that they survive... or die.

How it works:

The Darklands are home to several different tribes. You may create a new Tribe and name it what you wish, or choose to add a charactor into an existing Tribe with the permission of that Tribes owner. Usually Tribes have certain traits that distinguish them from others, for example, The Unnamed Tribe are all creatures called Lycanthropes which have the ability to change from human to werewolf form. No other Tribe can do this, so you know that all Lycanthropes in the Darklands are from the Unnamed Tribe.

Creating A New Tribe:

When creating a new Tribe, it cannot suddenly be the biggest most powerful Tribe in the area. You must build your Tribe up to that level. To start, your Tribe can only have ten members, these can be RP'ed by the Tribe owner or other players with charactors in that Tribe. You may have less then ten if you want, but no more then ten to start. Once you start building your Tribe, new Darklanders can be born, raised and trained to fight.

Tribes:

The Akkadian Empire: (ChickieBooBoo)

All Lio's are Centaurs, a half human, half horse creature. They are dark skinned, and have dark hair in colors such as black, dark brown or dark grey. Centaurs are larger then average human beings, the largest standing about eight to nine feet tall at the top of the head. They have the strength, speed and senses of a wild animal, but the smartness of a human. They live in a thick pine forest where the trees have no branches until the top of the trees. The rest of the trunk is bare, leaving space underneath. The branches on top block out most of the sun so the forest floor is dark, damp, cold and often foggy. The Centaurs must have thick, heavy coats to protect them from the cold and good eyesight to see in the almost constant near-darkness. Hidden in the deepest part of the forest is the Empire, the Akkadian's sacred fortress. It is a massive, ancient structure built partially underground although most is above. The ruler of the Empire lives here with his mate, aswell as the high priest and their servants. Surrounding the fortress is a wide, steep canyon that seems to have an endless depth. No creature has fallen in and come out alive, they just "disappear" and never return. Some say it is the entrance to Hell itself, others say you simply fall off the earth and into space. Nobody has gone in and come out alive to tell their story so many myths and stories surround this canyon. It guards the fortress from attack since it is too wide to jump and a single bridge crosses it, leading to the main entrance of the fortress which is heavily guarded at all times. Inside the canyon, but outside the main gates to the fortress is the village where most of the Centaurs live and younglings are raised and trained. The Centaurs are highly skilled in battle, often using bows and arrows, daggers, swords, clubs, maces and other medieval weapons. They have one ruler who is to be obeyed at all times, the rulers word is law. The high priest also has a significant amount of power and is just under if not equal to the ruler. Under the ruler and high priest are numerous ranks from younglings all the way to battle commanders and chief guards. There is no room for weakness in the herd, the leader eats first, followed by the warriors and then the mothers and younglings. All weak younglings are killed at birth, the elderly, aswell as any seriously injured who cannot recover 100%. Some call them brutal and cruel, but it keeps the herd strong. All Akkadians have medieval names.

Ruler:
Ambrose: A massive dark brown, almost black Centaur with a long, thick, black tail. He has thick, well muscled hindlegs and large, deadly hooves. He is a harsh leader, holding no guilt over the killing of weak younglings or elderly Centaurs who can no longer serve the herd. He can be unkind, but always has the best interest of his herd in mind. He rarely trusts anyone, even members of his own herd. During a confrontation he is aggressive, unkind and often very stubborn. To the members of his herd he is brisk although not unkind. Despite his aggressive nature he is a good, wise leader and has led the Empire for many, many seaons. (ChickieBooBoo)

Deputy:
Alexis: A tall, pure black female Centaur with a tough, don't-mess-with-me look to her. She has multiple battle scars but her thick, sleek fur makes them hard to see from afar. She is slender and graceful, quite beautiful if you look at her that way. She came to the herd when she was very young and was raised as a youngling, becoming a warrior and eventually, the deputy. She gets along well with Ambrose and the pair work very well together. She has a clear, focused mind and always has the herd in mind when she makes decisions. (ChickieBooBoo)

High Priest:
Maria: An older, dark brown Centaur with short black hair. She has a very mysterious nature to her, some claim she is insane. She very strongly believes in fate, and destinies and can read the stars like a map. She is very wise, dispite her odd nature and often advises Ambrose and Alexis. Since she has been the High Priest for many seasons she knows what shes doing and does her job well.

Chief Guard:
Hendrick: A massive, black Centaur with thick, well muscled shoulders. He towers over most Centaurs and is like running into a brick wall. He is authoritive and takes his job very seriously. Not many can get past him and his team. Since he is a guard, he is natually suspicious. He carries multiple weapons but prefers a spear or mace. (ChickieBooBoo)

Guards:
Sarus: A large, muscular male Centaur with dark grey fur covering his horse half. He is a very brutish nature and is extreamily aggressive towards newcomers. He rarely smiles and is highly feared both outside and inside the Empire. He has thick, well muscled arms that can support heavy weapons like large swords, large clubs and maces. He was born and raised in the Akkadian Empire and has been a guard his whole life. (ChickieBooBoo)

Charles: A large, dark brown Centaur with longer then average fur/hair, protecting his skin even further from arrows and spears. He has long, pointed ears like an elf that stick up further then usual, allowing him to hear things that others might not. His eyes are a deep yellow color and quite large compared to the size of his head, this lets him see better. He is a funny looking Centaur with his long fur/hair, large eyes and longer ears but has greater senses then most. (ChickieBooBoo)

Battle Commander:
Amira: A tall, dark grey Centaur with a long, jagged scar running down the side of her face. Well muscled and quite large, she is intimidating and feared even amoung her own herd. She is the senior, most experience warrior of the Akkadians and is often at the head of a battle patrol. She is clear headed, focused and always on task, ready to do whatever Ambrose asks of her. During battle she is quick, fierce and deadly. A natural fighter. (ChickieBooBoo)

Warriors:
Rowen: A thick-skinned, dark brown Centaur. He has multiple battle scars covering his entire body, proof of his tough life as a warrior He is rarely friendly and often snaps at others when they annoy him. He is one of Ambrose's most trusted men and has been a warrior for many seasons. (ChickieBooBoo)

Rayne: An irritable, black as night Centaur with sharp, distinctive features. He is often angry for no reason and looses his temper easily. He is arrogant and often brags of his excellent fighting abilities and his many battle scars from previous battles. His most prominant battle scar is his left eye, which is completely gone. It was ripped from his skull during battle many years ago and all thats left is an empty hole. (ChickieBooBoo)

Talida: A deep chestnut colored Centaur with long, silky hair. She is graceful and proud, a stunningly beautiful creature. In addition to her beauty, she has an amazing, sweet singing voice that rings through the forest like a single ray of sunshine in the dark. Despite her innocent, charming appearance she is a crafty fighter and often lures her opponents (usually males) in with her virginity, only to attack and kill them once they fall into her trap. Joseph: A tall, muscular Centaur with a very arrogent look to him. He holds his head high and takes a great amount of pride in whatever he does. He was taken in by Ambrose as a youngling and trained to be a warrior, he feels that he owes Ambrose his life and will greatfully give it up for the sake of the Empire. In battle he is quick and fierce, using a club and spear as his weapons. (ChickieBooBoo)

Aldreda: A very tall Centaur with a massive black body like a Friesians. Her skin is a warm, almost flawless dark brown. Her tail is hock length and wavy, pitch black in color; Her hair reaches her lower back and is black as well. She is extremely masculine, yet slender. Her eyes are a bright blue, seemingly able to pierce through your very soul. She is swift, agile, and very strong. She is one to be feared, for her imprssive strength and size. She normally wears a plain forest green tank top underneath a leather bodice. She has leather vambraces on her wrists, and hocks to protect herself from low cutting swords, daggers, etc etc. She is very smart, and only speaks when she needs to. Prefers the quiet, where she practices with her bow. Althought she is normally somewhat kind, she is actually very evil and cruel; and loves the sight of her enemies blood. Will do whatever it takes for the good of her herd, even if it means giving her own life or others. She is very knowledgeable in many weapons, expecially bow and arrow. But will be seen with her bow over her shoulder and with a heavy sword on her waist. She was born and raised in the Lio herd. (chickendiva25)

Gregory: A lean, male Centaur with an leopard app coat. His legs are long and built for running great distances, his tail speckled and uncut. He appears to be about 19 in age, short, wind blown black hair and wild eyes. He joined the Akkadians when he was about 10, his parents having been killed by who knows what. He is soft spoken, but not shy, often butting in sarcastic comments during someone's conversation. (Gerbil)

Cedany: A female Centaur who is in her early twenties in human years. She has a thick black tail, black legs with heavy feathering, and is deep brown, almost grayish buckskin. She has long raven black hair and deep olive skin with piercing golden eyes. She is very beautiful and slightly vain, although it never shows. She is a swift runner, always calm, and a little bit shy. She has family, but she never wishes to see them again. She was rejected by her family because she was a centaur and they were not. An old woman took her in and cared for her until the day she died. After the woman died, the hunters of the village came after her and she fled deep into the forest where she found the Akkadians. She has a strange habit of always looking behind her, as if something was there. (horsecrazychickenlovingkid)

Odette: A female Centaur who is in her late twenties. She is slightly smaller than most, not incredibly muscular either. Her black-haired body is like an Arabian horse's; with smaller legs and preportion, a thick flagged tail, soft bodied, and held high. This is an advantage however. Odette can outrun most and is incredibly agile when engaged in battle or hunting. Her skin is a smooth, flawless light brown and her hair is slightly darker, kept in a bobbed hair cut with long bangs that nearly touch her electric yellow, snake-like eyes. She is often seen wearing a thick black leather bodice with gold lacings at the front and wrist bracers of the same material and lacings, with a single tassled quiver to hold her arrows in slung over a shoulder. The Centaur's bow is made of a light colored wood and recurved, tied at several parts with a deep purple leather. Its string is made of her own tail hair. She is not to be messed with, for when provoked she can became rather hellish in attitude. She's normally friendly anyway. Unknown to her, her parents were killed during a war and she became orphaned nearly at birth. Odette was then sent to an orphanage at a nearby village that specialized in archery. Once she became a teenager, she was secretly taught archery and how to hunt by a master, which is where she became so good at her rank's skill. Unfortunately her village had a very strict society and believed that women weren't capable of becoming a warrior or hunter of any sort and should be limited to caring for children. After the leader found out, both her master and herself were banished and prohibited from ever seeing their home forest ever again. (Zinnia-Hen)

Head Spy:
Isabell: A slim, dark grey Centaur with long, slender legs and arms. She has a very graceful build and is extreamily flexible, making it easy for her to maneuver in small spaces without making a sound or being spotted by the enemies. She has sharp hearing and eyesight, making her an excellent spy who is able to gather large amounts of information. She is relatively young but showed so much potential at a young age that she was made Head Spy. (ChickieBooBoo)

Spies:
Demetri: A smaller, dark grey Centaur with sharp, distinctive feathers. He is clever and tricky to understand, good with words and always seems to have some sort of scheme up his sleeves. Ambrose has never completely trusted him, he joined the herd just a few months ago and was never fully accepted into the herd. Amira saw something in him, something that was different from the other Centaurs and convinced Ambrose to let him stay. His past is unknown and he has very dark, mysterious look to him. Simon: A graceful, black and grey Centaur who is extreamily short and slim, hardly bigger then a ten year old youngling. He can be completely silent at will and hold his breath for long periods of time to swim underwater or keep completely silent when close to an enemy camp. As a younger spy, he greatly admires Isabelle and one day wants to be just like her. He is very loyal to her as his superior and would do anything to protect her. (ChickieBooBoo)

Lead Hunter/Gatherer:
Chaucer: A short, stocky Centaur with cheerful grey eyes and a warm heart. He loves the forest and hates to see it ruined during the brutal, bloody battles that often occur. He is kind to most Akkadian's and most are kind to him, being that he is the leader of the hunters/gatheres who feed the Empire. (ChickieBooBoo)

Hunters/Gatherers:
Osanna: A dark grey and black Centaur with gentle features and long, pointed ears similar to an elf. Compared to most Centaurs she is kind and not as quick to fight. She follows orders but sometimes questions the brutality behind it, although she would never voice her opinions out loud for fear that Ambrose would banish her from the herd. She is very protective of younglings and even the young from other Tribes. (ChickieBooBoo)

Benedict: A large brown and black Centaur who is tall and slim, perfect for being able to reach food thats high in the trees. He has a long tail which he uses for balance when he is standing on his hindlegs to reach up into a tree. He's pretty easy going and is friendly to his friends in the Empire but hates all other Tribes and will do anything to destroy them. (ChickieBooBoo)

Younglings:
Mahesh: A young, dark brown male Centaur with short black hair. He has a strong connection with the forest and wishes to become a hunter/gatherer when he reaches his tenth birthday. (ChickieBooBoo)

Kemet: A tiny black Centaur, barely able to walk on his own. He has short black hair and a thin, slender build. He will most likely become a spy when he grows older. (ChickieBooBoo)

Servants:
Henry: A timid, grey Centaur who always seems nervous and jumpy. He jumps at the slightest things and his hands are always trembling. He speaks with a stutter and fears the higher up members of the Empire. (ChickieBooBoo)

The Unnamed Tribe: (BirdNut)

Members of this Unnamed Tribe are lycanthropes which is a rare trait in the Darklands and can be used to distinguish them from other Tribes. They're also more solitary than most Tribes in the area; fighting when challenged, but mostly keeping to themselves. Their living grounds lie within a dark, mysterious marsh just on the edge of a vast forest, which is where they hunt. They've claimed a very large territory, which they guard fiercely by single, cleverly placed guards placed on each angle. They have the ability to take on the form of a anthropomorphic (meaning, 'standing on two legs') wolf with razor-sharp claws, and long fangs. The hair color each member in human form will determine a majority of the lycanthrope form's pelt color. Light-haired individuals will have a light-colored pelt ranging from as light as white to the average Gray, Red, Arabian, or Eurasian wolf pelt. Dark-haired individuals would have dark slate-gray, or melanistic (black) with little to no highlights in their fur. They all dress in simple, natural leather clothing.

Alpha Male:
Gareth: A thirty year oldish male, who is (as a human) very tall (almost 6 ft), fairly olive-skinned, with grizzled brown hair, a rather square chin, and a fairly muscular build. His lycan form appears to be a Gray wolf; slate-gray upperparts with a silver underside, and with brown hairs intermingled all throughout his body, and electric yellow eyes against a background of white. He is quiet and at times irritable, he doesn't socialize much. He always seems preoccupied, because he, as Zane says; "Takes his job waaay too seriously." He's kind and considerate at heart, and could be described as gentle. Gareth doesn't have to fight anyone very often, especially because a man his size usually doesn't. His expression usually seems to betray annoyance, but he can be caught softly smiling around certain people. His parents still reside back at his old home, but his brother, Zane, lives in the same pack. He does not have a mate, and thus leads the pack alone. (BirdNut)

Warriors:
Zane: A thirty year oldish male, he retained skin much lighter than Gareth, with black hair, and a lightly shadowed chin. He has a more slender, athletic build, and is shorter than his half-brother Gareth. His lycan form is a melanistic wolf, that is pitch-black with bushy, silvery 'eyebrows' (which he wriggles from time to time just because it makes people giggle), and the tips of his toes are of the same color. He is in a constant state of contentment, and it takes a lot to remove that coy half-grin from his face. He's quite social and tends to be a flirt at times, and thoroughly enjoys making others laugh. Zane was mischievous in his youth. He'd heard a sound when he was standing in the back of his house, and wanted to investigate, but was promptly stopped by a firm grip onto his wrist by his older half-brother, Gareth. He insisted that he wanted to investigate, and, through persistent persuasion, Gareth reluctantly followed him with his father's gun in hand. When they parted the foliage, they saw an incredible sight; three lycans lurking about the shadows. When Zane tripped over a twig and tumbled through the bushes, the beasts rashly accused them of spying and immediately attacked. Gareth won the battle when he finally had the chance to shoot one of the lycans in the foot, sending them running and howling into the night. Both brothers were bitten, and thus began the change, fleeing from their home with one last, tearful goodbye to their parents and the strong urge to avenge the loss of their once normal lives. Their parents have desperately sought them since the incident, to no avail. No villager has ever been willing to help them search no matter what the payment offered, because werewolves are scorned creatures and they didn't want to be held responsible for bringing back such a monster. Tabitha: A female in her early twenties, she is long and leggy in both forms, but of average height. She's a fair-skinned girl with light brown hair, calm, sage green eyes and naturally wavy hair that tends to frizz waywardly in moist weather. Her lycan form appears to be an Arabian wolf with a thinner, shorter coat than most, and she is a light dirty blond with gray and black hairs sparsely mixed in. She is calm and quiet, but likes to be where the action is. She's fairly smart and, amusingly to her, is often looked to for advice. Extremely modest and doesn't like to talk about herself very much, and compliments don't linger on her mind for long. She was jogging late in the evening like she always had, because she liked the cooler weather at that time. Her parents knew the dangers that lurked, whether human or not, and tried to convince her not to go, but she insisted, saying that she knew basic defense and needed this nightly run. Reluctantly, they let her go, and after a few evenings, she was bitten by a lycan that Gareth suspects to be a part of the same pack that bit he and his half-brother. She tried to lead on a normal life, making up ridiculous excuses for her parents not to come see her at night. They began to worry and picked the lock to her bedroom door, coming in to find that she was gone without any trace except for a note left behind and an open window. Distraught, they wept bitterly as they feebly ran for the woods as far as they could, until the darkness of midnight came upon them and forced them to hesitantly turn back. She is also single. Once she had a relationship, but it apparently wasn't strong enough when he ran from her, after her transformation, shouting profanities as he went. (BirdNut)

Amarillo: A beautiful warrior of Birdnut's nameless tribe. She is twenty years old in humans years. She may seem sweet and cheery on the outside, but she has a dark and sinister past that haunts her. Enemies tend to not take her seriously, but she can be their worst nightmare. Human form- sandy hair and light tan skin. Wolf form- yellowish gold fur. her golden coat/pale skin is her best weapon. She has family, somewhere. She is from the sunny climates in the far south. She is very touchy on the subject of family. Her name means yellow in Spanish. (horsecrazychickenlovingkid)

Oscuro: A warrior of Birdnut's nameless tribe. He is 23 in human years. Human form- Coal black hair and dark brown skin, electric green eyes. Wolf form- solid black coat without a trace of white, electric green eyes. He is actually quite nice and very calm. He is good at handling sticky situations. He is despised by some because of his relatively good attitude. On the outside he seems sinister and dark, his behaviors drastically change when around enemies, making him into a sinister creature of which most will avoid if at all possible. Has no family, as far as anyone knows. Came from the far north for some unknown reason, becomes defensive when others speak of his past. Sometimes, his eyes change color. The Lost Ones: (Zinnia-Hen)

The Lost Ones are a group of rogues, thugs, bandits, and outsiders who have joined together. All are able to wield daggers and other weapons very well, an affective tool when engaged in battle. All are also able to turn invisible when spying. They live deep within the forest, shrowded by trees of all sorts. They are not easy to find within the area. Their main buildings are built within the trees and connected together with hanging wooden bridges. The buildings circle around a pool that is claimed to be holy, surronded by mesmorisingly beautiful garden flowers. Their land is teeming with life and rather resourceful, filled with animals, fruits, rivers and lakes, herbs, minerals of all sorts, and so forth. They are agile and cunning. Most are also good weapon makers and they can usually be identified with their insigia engraved bracers. tThose in The Lost Ones can be any race/critter and that elders are banished because they figure they're no good.

Boss:
Erasong: A young elven woman standing at about 5'11 with dark, flawless blue skin, long pointed blue ears with two gold loop piercings in each, wispy pink hair that reaches her shoulders, and line markings of the same color under her shining pupiless eyes. She often uses her advantage of beauty to lure men to their doom. Her nails are sharpened. Erasong's usual outfit includes a black leather piece of armor with three pointed red lines going down her very upper chest, long and slightly rugged sleeves, a high neck, and two white squared patterns with a black marking across them over her chest; large shoulder pads of a similar material with red lines going along the edge and two pointed and rather dagger like blades strapped to the front side; tight pants also of the same tough leather as her top with several markings going up her legs; smooth, fingerless formfitting gloves adorned with silver knuckles; large fur lined boots, and a simple dark belt. She also attatches a long hooded red cloak to her back and wields two curved daggers with a misty green aura swirling around them. Cruel with those who do not belong in her territory and new members until they've gained her trust. Will kill and steal mercilessly from enemies; but behind this she is still a great leader and seems to get the job done right. She only speaks about her past with those she trusts, but it was obviously rough. Erasong is incredibly strong and skilled with weapons from all backgrounds; and when in stealth she can become quite deadly. She usually is heard speaking in an eerie soft toned voice.

Deputy:
Mannix: A tall, muscular half-zombified man. His armor consists of a black chestplate with a rib caged shaped bit at both the front and back made of a heavy stone and a deep blue sapphire jewel at the front; huge blue triple plated shoulder pads with dark blue tips, spikes, and a head protecting area; large blue plate gloves with a silver wrap around section that covers his wrists and forearms, topped with a sapphire and spiked fingers; a spiked silver belt with green material flowing at the sides, a glowing skull at the front, and both chains and a long dark blue piece of moth eaten material flowing off the front and back; and a blue plated pants hidden under the hanging cloth. Mannix's boots are similar to his gloves and a chainmail cowl covers his head. His face is always blacked out under his head covering so only two glowing eyes are ever seen. No one has ever seen his face. Unbelievably kind compared to most, though hot headed when provoked. He would kill for his tribe no matter what it would take, including his life. Loyal would explain him. Mannix lived a fairly normal childhood up until he was kidnapped at the age of ten by a mysterious man. He was killed yet somehow revived after the fact in attempt to create a monster. Killing many at an early age, he eventually wiped out his whole large town, including his own family. He ran away when he became an adult after murdering his master and reached the Darklands after many grueling years of searching for it. He became deputy long before Erasong but stepped down once she decided to take the place of the aging leader. He killed most of his family. However, he brought his son Tighe with him.

The Celtics (horsecrazychickenlovingkid)

The Celtics are a herd of Kelpie. Kelpie can live in water or on land. They are from old Celtic legend.The legend tells of a horse that is strong, powerful, breathtaking, and beautiful. Their coats can be white, black, grey, green, or blue. They appear to humans as a lost pony and can be identified by a constantly dripping mane and tail with seaweed entwined in it. Their coats are sleek like a seal's and cold as death when touched. They can transform into humans, identifiable by seaweed in the hair and small gills on the side of the neck, usually hidden by a scarf. They will be uncommonly beautiful or handsome when in human form. They appear to humans and try to lure them onto their backs, where their skin becomes sticky and they carry the victim into the water and drown them. They then eat everything except the heart and liver. Kelpies are said to have the strength and endurance of 10 horses. Their one weakness is their bridle and saddle, if a human gets a piece of it, they have full control over the Kelpie and can make it do whatever they want. Their beautifully designed and decorated saddles and bridles are one of a kind and give the Kelpies extra strength.

The Celtics live in a small region of forest that has a deep river running through it. They live about half in the water and half out of it. They are usually heavily tattooed and adorned with necklaces and jewels according to rank and prestige. They must have four legs, but can have small flippers in odd places as a sort of decoration. They prey only on mortal humans, but also feed on types of kelp and grass if need be.

Cadeyrn: He is black as night with a ghostly white swirling pattern on his left flank repeated on his left cheek. he has swirling eerie white striped that twist around his front legs. He has the elegant features of an Arabian, the height and speed of a thoroughbred, the stocky body, long thick mane and tail, and beauty and grace of an Andalusian, with the Spanish pride and grace of a Peruvian Paso. His slightly crimped, long, thick, coal black mane and tail have swirling strands of seaweed braided into them. He has large red gills on the right side of his neck, where his mane doesn't fall. He is the ultimate picture of power. Sheer strength and muscle illuminates every step. He moves like a cat, silent as a ghost in the night. He is one to be highly respected and greatly feared. He is calm and commanding, sometimes cold and calculating, but only evil if he has cause to be. He shows no mercy for enemies and traitors. Despite everything else about him, he loves foals and enjoys watching them play. His only family is his daughter, Boudicca. He had a mate, but a tragic series of events killed her and he has never taken another since then. Nobody knows anything about his past, not even his own daughter. He wears a large indigo sapphire on a rope around his neck. It is said that he stores the souls of those he has drowned inside it. Bridle - Handmade leather with designs etched into it of small fish, larger tassels of rich silk hang from the sides, beads of finely cut jewels hang down his forehead, the loops and rings are of pure gold and the corners of the leather and the brow-band are gold-plated with artistic designs of sea serpents. Saddle - Fine handmade leather with etched designs of great leaping fish, the breast-collar is gold plated with in-laid jewels, the seat is of soft wool covered with fine indigo silk, the girth is hand-tooled mohair, the saddle horn is of pure white ivory with a gold-plated top and in-laid jewels around the base. Cassiopeia: Is one of the most beautiful Kelpie ever born. She has a long wavy colored mane. It consists of three colors. Black, brown, and flaxen. As does her thick tail. The seaweed entwined in her hair made exotic patterns. Complementing her lighter palomino. Which is always mistaken for white. She has a small tattoo on her shoulder. Which her thick curly hair covers in human form. She can easily be recognized in human form by her rare, sea green eyes. She is of medium height. With long tan and musclier legs. Epona: A highly beautiful female Kelpie, with a thick wavy mane that is half white and a pale blue at the tips. Long strands of seaweed is entwined in her mane, giving her an even more beautiful and exotic look. Her sleek coat is a dazziling white, and is slightly dappled on her rump with a pale blue color. A light blue feathering is on her dainty bone colored hooves. Her eyes are a pale blue, that glitter and sparkle in the sunshine. In human form, she is amazingingly beautiful. Her hair is so long, it reaches below her back. Its a very pale blue, almost white, and has seeweed entangled here and there, along with special little flowers she chose. Epona's eyes are heavily lidded, usually caked with large amounts of eye make-up giving her a strange, yet seductive look. Her legs are long and slender, normally hidden by her ground length flowing white, off shoulder dress. The sleeves reach her dainty fingers, the nails surprisingly dirty and very sharp and long. But they are most normally hidden by her dress sleeves. She is the master of the arts, as she is truly evil inside despite her naturally good looks. Epona can be extremely evil at times, whereas she can be extremely smooth and cool-headed at others. Epona is deamanding at times, but usually has to do things on her own as she thinks nobody can do her job right other than herself. (chickendiva25)

Boudicca: Her coat is green as glass and she has solid black eyes. Her mane and tail are long, thick, strait, and black with strands of dark green seaweed intertwined with it. She has the small, petite body and elegant features of an Egyptian Arabian. She is very flirtatious and seemingly gentle, but she can be very vicious at times and even cruel if she has cause to be. She is quite strong and very swift with much endurance. She moves like a shadow in the night. Her father, Cadeyrn, is her only family. Her mother died when she was young and she has little to no memory of her. Bridle - handcrafted black leather with engraved sea serpents and silver silk tassels hanging form the sides, the brow-band is silver-plated with inlaid green jade, green jasper, and black onyx. Saddle - finely made black leather with engravings of ancient creatures of the sea, the breast-collar has a solid silver ring and is studded with beautiful green Garnet and Emerald gemstones, the seat is padded wool covered by black silk, the saddle horn is of ivory from an elephant's tusk with Peridot gems around the base and the very top has a large stone of black onyx embedded in it. Tribe Name: (I need ideas. :C )
Something that distinguishes them from another Tribe: The fact that they're lycanthropes, and that they're more solitary than most tribes in the area; fighting when challenged, but mostly keeping to themselves.
Description of the territory: Their living grounds lie within a dark, mysterious marsh just on the edge of a vast forest, which is where they hunt. They've claimed a very large territory, which they guard fiercely by single, cleverly placed guards placed on each angle.
Any special abilities your Tribe has: The ability to take on the form of a anthropomorphic (meaning, 'standing on two legs') wolf with razor-sharp claws, and long fangs.
Other: The hair color of your character in human form will determine a majority of the lycanthrope form's pelt color. Light-haired individuals will have a light-colored pelt ranging from as light as white to the average Gray, Red, Arabian, or Eurasian wolf pelt. Dark-haired individuals would have dark slate-gray, or melanistic (black) with little to no highlights in their fur. They all dress in simple, natural leather clothing.

Age: Appears to be in his late thirties when human.
Appearance: As a human, he is very tall (almost 6 ft), fairly olive-skinned, with grizzled brown hair, a rather square chin, and a fairly muscular build. His lycan form appears to be a Gray wolf; slate-gray upperparts with a silver underside, and with brown hairs intermingled all throughout his body, and electric yellow eyes against a background of white.
Personality: Quiet and at times irritable, Gareth doesn't socialize much. He always seems preoccupied, because he, as Zane says; "Takes his job waaay too seriously." He's kind and considerate at heart, and could be described as gentle. Gareth doesn't have to fight anyone very often, especially because a man his size usually doesn't. His expression usually seems to betray annoyance, but he can be caught softly smiling around certain people.
Family: His parents still reside back at his old home, but his brother, Zane, lives in the same pack.

Appearance: He retained skin much lighter than Gareth, with black hair, and a lightly shadowed chin. He has a more slender, athletic build, and is shorter than his half-brother Gareth. His lycan form is a melanistic wolf, that is pitch-black with bushy, silvery 'eyebrows' (which he wriggles from time to time just because it makes people giggle), and the tips of his toes are of the same color.
Personality: Zane is in a constant state of contentment, and it takes a lot to remove that coy half-grin from his face. He's quite social and tends to be a flirt at times, and thoroughly enjoys making others laugh. (He won't get inappropriate everybody, don't worry.

History: Zane was mischievous in his youth. He'd heard a sound when he was standing in the back of his house, and wanted to investigate, but was promptly stopped by a firm grip onto his wrist by his older half-brother, Gareth. He insisted that he wanted to investigate, and, through persistent persuasion, Gareth reluctantly followed him with his father's gun in hand. When they parted the foliage, they saw an incredible sight; three lycans lurking about the shadows. When Zane tripped over a twig and tumbled through the bushes, the beasts rashly accused them of spying and immediately attacked. Gareth won the battle when he finally had the chance to shoot one of the lycans in the foot, sending them running and howling into the night. Both brothers were bitten, and thus began the change, fleeing from their home with one last, tearful goodbye to their parents and the strong urge to avenge the loss of their once normal lives. Their parents have desperately sought them since the incident, to no avail. No villager has ever been willing to help them search no matter what the payment offered, because werewolves are scorned creatures and they didn't want to be held responsible for bringing back such a monster.

Appearance: She is long and leggy in both forms, but of average height. She's a fair-skinned girl with light brown hair, calm, sage green eyes and naturally wavy hair that tends to frizz waywardly in moist weather. Her lycan form appears to be an Arabian wolf with a thinner, shorter coat than most, and she is a light dirty blond with gray and black hairs sparsely mixed in.
Personality: Calm and quiet, but likes to be where the action is. She's fairly smart and, amusingly to her, is often looked to for advice. Extremely modest and doesn't like to talk about herself very much, and compliments don't linger on her mind for long.
History: Tabitha was jogging late in the evening like she always had, because she liked the cooler weather at that time. Her parents knew the dangers that lurked, whether human or not, and tried to convince her not to go, but she insisted, saying that she knew basic defense and needed this nightly run. Reluctantly, they let her go, and after a few evenings, she was bitten by a lycan that Gareth suspects to be a part of the same pack that bit he and his half-brother. She tried to lead on a normal life, making up ridiculous excuses for her parents not to come see her at night. They began to worry and picked the lock to her bedroom door, coming in to find that she was gone without any trace except for a note left behind and an open window. Distraught, they wept bitterly as they feebly ran for the woods as far as they could, until the darkness of midnight came upon them and forced them to hesitantly turn back.
Other: Single. She once had a relationship, but it apparently wasn't strong enough when he ran from her, after her transformation, shouting profanities as he went.
 
Hey Birdy, you can use the Wynk or Bina Tribe names. Nix created them back when she started the thread but I don't need them.
