At the sudden sight of his tail, they shot thick, stinging arrows and enchanted throwing knives into it, several of which embedding.

McKinnon's tail shot towards them, more of a reflex then him really doing anything. It was about chest height for the unlucky Hooliqigos who just happened to be standing at the moment. Since the end of his tail was quite thin, he now had the tips of knives and arrows sticking out the side.

Though the stabbed tail had bumped into them, the push was less intense due to the fact the blades were embedded into McKinnon and the ends were made of wood. They raised their arrows and throwing knives again and aimed towards his massive ribs, the potion enchanced blades afflicting the dragon more greatly than before.

McKinnon let out a furious snarl and he lunged at the nearest Hooliqigo with surprising speed for a creature so large. He staggered sideways as the poison entered his system but he was still able to wrap his jaws around whomever was standing closest.

Dion, whom McKinnon grabbed, immediately drew his massive aura-surronded sword and stabbed it deep into his jaw. It stung more than it should have. Much, much more.

Blinded by pain and the effects of the poison, the second stab only made it worse. His limbs flailed wildly and his tail flew back and forth, swinging the arrowheads and knives sticking out the other end in all directions.

"Retreat!" yelled Ulrich as McKinnon began to thrash his tail violently, all suffering several painful swings as they fled. Dion continued to grasp onto the beast with the same death grip, and sank his long sharpened blade up into the roof of his mouth. He let out a war-cryish grunt whilst fighting for his life.

McKinnon finally let go of Dion and flung him high into a tree, leaving him with near fatal wounds. He took a step backwards, still shaking his head in distress and lunged blindly at the retreating Hooliqigos.
