"So this is your past, but it is not ours.... We came of the caves, we heard of this war, but were not part. What business do they have with us?"

"It doesn't matter to them" Hailey answered "They will destroy all"

"Sorry" she replied, settling quietly in the chair. "He's well, er, an ... old acquaintance. I'm from Russia originally, but every year there were more hunters and less of us, less snow too. So, I left. Not really much snow here either but, eh, what can you expect? No humans come out here, at least, none that plan on returning. I've been traveling for a while, got off on the wrong foot with some, ah, people and it didn't go very well. Had to keep moving, specially with him around. You can never be too careful, and I must say I wasn't, if I had been, then i would have crept peacefully into your camp, instead of that, uh, entrance." she replied evasively. She clearly wasn't willing to tell him what had really gone down. She winced as he touched a deep spot and chewed her lip edgily.

Addison opened his mouth to speak but Hailey interupted him "Because if you don't, the entire world of the Darklands will be destroyed by the Dragons. Do you really want that kind of blood on your hands? The Dragons destroyed our Tribe, they will destroy yours too"

He removed his hand as she flinched and proceeded to grab a wad of wrapping, "Well then, I will accept that for the moment. Quite interesting."
