"Interesting," whispered Ulrich, motioning for those behind him to take a few small steps closer. As they inched closer and closer to the dragon, the already bitter temperature could be felt dropping because of McKinnon.

(As long as you get the picture, its cool with me

McKinnon stayed low, deciding that they were already too close for fleeing to be an option. The bushes were quite thick where he was hiding, and he blended in somewhat with the snow. Since the Hooliqigos didn't know what exactly he was, he chose a surprise attack as his best option.

"Hello?" Ulrich called out. He noticed an unusual shine in the snow underneath the bushes, almost as if he had seen a scale or something's skin. "Dear god, the bloody thing must be giant," he muttered before motioning towards the others to back up slightly. "Brace yourselves for whatever could happen here," he whispered.

McKinnon twitched the tip of his tail, which snaked through the bushes around the Hooliqigos, making the tip lie directly behind them. The bushes shook slightly, causing a bit of snow to fall off of them and make noise.

They stopped midway while backing up, those in the back barely stomping onto McKinnon's tail. Gustave and Charlot simply gazed in awe before quickly grabbing a hold of their bows, as Dion grabbed Ulrich's shoulder with a gloved hand. "I, I think it's a serpent of some sort. Back up to where we are, it'll be safer..." he said through the rumbling of sound. Though he normally did not take orders from those who ranked lower than him, Ulrich took the other warrior's advice and took several steps back on his stallion.

McKinnon swept his tail towards them, knocking their legs out from under them before melting back into the snow. He hoped that he could scare or distract them enough that they would leave and give him a chance to escape unnoticed.

The two draft stallions that carried Dion and Ulrich upon their backs fell onto their knees with a poof of snow, Dion's snorting angrily and looking up into the air as Ulrich got his to stand without much of a fuss. Meanwhile, Gustave and Charlot's cats were only knocked forward into the freezing snow due to their shorter legs and longer bodies, and it took little effort for them to get to their paws again. "Is that what I think it is...?" said a hunter who had seen a brief glimpse of McKinnon before he had sped away. His eyes squeezed into slits in order to get a better view, though it barely aided the situation. Covered in snow, the four backed a few steps away but lingered around just in case.

McKinnon wound his tail slowly around the bushes, being careful not to disturb the snow enough that it made too much noise. Then, quick as a snake, it shot forwards and wrapped around one of Gustave's cats hindlegs. It jerked backwards, pulling the cat off its feet and dragging it and Gustave backwards into the trees before anyone else could react. Then, quick as it had come, the tail released them about 8 feet from where they had origionally been standing and shrank back into the snow once more.

Gustave didn't make a single sound and only widened his eyes slightly in surprise, but his cat however decided to roar viciously at the dragon and bare its massive fangs. Miraculously, the man had held onto his mount through the whole ride. The others immediately drew their weapons and raced towards Gustave, who had also gotten his bow out. After regrouping they silently waited for the dragon.

(I think you did

It sounds right lol)

McKinnon lay low, not making to sound to see what they would do. The air had grown bitterly cold and the temperature was still dropping.

They held kept quiet and still as well, ready for McKinnon's next blow.

He waited with endless patience, continuing to drop the air temp in hopes that it would make them turn back.
