They held kept quiet and still as well, ready for McKinnon's next blow.

He waited with endless patience, continuing to drop the air temp in hopes that it would make them turn back.

Even if they were to freeze into blocks and live that way for an eternity, they continued to stand with their weapons drawn, as their species could endure fridgid temperatures due to the way they had adapted to the climate over the years. "Come out," Ulrich said through his scarf.

(Perhaps I should just let them stand there for eternity

McKinnon almost growled at their stubborness. He wrapped his tail around the base of a tree and shook it, causing a bunch of snow from the branches to fall down onto the waiting warriors. The brutal cold also caused a branch to snap and break off in the process. It swung down and crashed to the ground right in front of them so close that it grazed a few of their noses on the way down.

At the sudden sight of his tail, they shot thick, stinging arrows and enchanted throwing knives into it, several of which embedding.

McKinnon's tail shot towards them, more of a reflex then him really doing anything. It was about chest height for the unlucky Hooliqigos who just happened to be standing at the moment. Since the end of his tail was quite thin, he now had the tips of knives and arrows sticking out the side.
