strength to you. I admire what you are doing, it really is the right thing.

My biggest concearn is that my Papa is and always has been a VERY hard headed and stubborn man. He has worked hard his whole life, served in WWII, invaded at Omaha Beach on D Day in the first wave and fought in the Argon Forest where he was in a jeep that was hit with a mortar round. He was the only survivor. He does not seem to understand that his body has become quite frail and that he has to eat a certain way due to his diabetes. His sugar bottoms out because of his reluctance to "eat as prescribed" and he insists on trying to do things that his body just can't take any more. It's going to be a huge struggle to stay composed and find a way to finess him into thinking it's his idea to do more of the right things

It's a big undertaking for sure and I don't look forward to butting heads with him though I know it will happen from time to time.
I have great respect for him and he is an amazing man. I just want to do the right things and I am not sure I know how.

God Bless I hope it all works out for you and your Grandparents. I do pray that when and if I reach 90 someone will be there for me.

You will be blessed many times over for this. I know that its hard to give up a life you love but in the end it will be worth it and you will not regret it. You are a special person for doing this and we all all blessed on this forum for knowing you.
