Also minor type differences. D’Anvers have a more extreme type, de Watermaels are similar but more in the middle, d’Uccles are more relaxed. But that depends upon the individual.

I WAS CLOSE. yeah, i knew there had to be some other differences but still thats very similar

Yes they are definitely different.
See, d’Anvers have a bull neck, extreme tail angle, very short back, upright posture.

Here is the difference between Watermaels and d’Anvers.

The Watermael has a trilobed beard and tighter feathering along with a more gradual type.

A d’Uccle kinda looks more like it’s crouching and leaning forward instead of upright. A d’Uccle has some Asiatic blood which brought in the feathered legs to the Belgian bantams. It has a more flat back than the other two which basically have v or u shaped backs (no their skeletons aren’t shaped like that, but their feathers make it look that way.)
There are also tailless versions of these breeds, these being true varieties of the breeds, respectively d’Grubbe, d’Everburg, and de Boitsfoot.

I’m not currently participating in this, but I think you are very knowledgeable about this subject. I thought it was interesting. Not annoying:hugsand the part about the d’uccles at least was accurate(the only birds I know anything about lol)

Bandit will fight you. She will fight your mom. She will fight your dad. She will fight your brother. She will fight your grandma. She will fight your dog. She will fight your 3rd grade teacher. Really, the only reason she’s even in this petty war is to beat up some birds. Patriotism? Loyalty? Bandit knows none of that. Only fight.
Once she’s finished fighting (if that day ever comes) she will raise an army of chicks so they can beat up everyone beside her.

(In reality, Bandit is the second to last in rank of my four hens, but whatever. XD)

Scar’s father died of a predator and all her 20 brothers were killed by a human. She believes the d’Anvers and the d’uccles are the ones behind it. She’s a master in strategy, but perhaps more importantly, conspiracy theories.
