I'll Play! Here is a double yoker (My first egg ever laid by one of the girls). I have never seen a triple, but would love to!

Caution! There has also been stories on here of marigold killing chickens!

I doubt my chickens are even going to eat marigold. I have marigold plants growing around in the spring and the chickens never touch them. Also, you can post your oddly colored yolks here. I would love to see something weird!

I was reading the marigold idea off the University of Kentucky Ag Dept. website. I think I may try growing marigolds. May be interesting.

Some of the purina foods has marigold in it. I belive one of them is layena but ther is another one also just cant remember the name of it

Last fall when our Isa Browns started laying, Big Moma layed some really big eggs. One was a triple yolker. I felt so bad for her. Now she lays a pretty consistant single yolk jumbo egg.
