This thread is for anyone wanting to show off and tell about their BIG eggs with double yolkers and triple yolkers(and higher amounts of yolks!)!
The first time an Amerucana I had laid an egg, it was a double yolker, was huge and torpedo shaped! Also, I once had a meat bird that laid a triple yolker!

I was just about to post this today!! You beat me to it!! I've been having a lot of double yolkers, but I think this one I found today may be the elusive triple yolker!! You'll have to wait on baited breath until we crack it open!! All I can say is OUCH, OUCHY, OUCH!!!!

Any guesses?? It is about 1/4 bigger than my double yolkers!

Those some ORANGE yolks! What have you been feeding them? I've tried alfalfa with mine and they totally ignore it.

Haha! I know they are beautiful! I feed them organic feed, scraps, nothing unusual. They are free range and get to eat bugs all day!!

Hm, maybe I'll keep that in mind(if they'll eat it, the picky birds! They're motto is "if its green, it certainly ain't bread!").

I find that the more time they spend outside, the darker the yolks are... They do forage all day and usually in the sunshine!

I'll Play! Here is a double yoker (My first egg ever laid by one of the girls). I have never seen a triple, but would love to!

Caution! There has also been stories on here of marigold killing chickens!
