Thank you for the reassurance. I have books on chickens, need a duck book apparently...

Haha no problem. I know suspense is unreal, but it shouldn't be long now... Be sure to post some pics if you can!

I would recommend getting books on "poultry" as that talks about ducks, chickens, etc. [IMG] (I like: "Storey's Guide to Raising Poultry")

I read that one. Would be handy to own though.

I ordered both Storey's Guide to Raising Ducks and Storey's Guide to Raising Poultry when I set my duck & turkey eggs. The Poultry book touches on everything, but the duck book is more in depth on just ducks, so I wanted both. Plus, they are different authors, so I though both perspectives would be nice. I believe the sticker price on each is 19.99 but I ordered from Barnes & Noble for around 15 each.

Oddly enough one of ours hatched out five days after she was supposed to. Although she was smaller than the others until they were fully grown, she has always been the most active and a real renegade. If any was going to get in trouble ... she is always the one. Be patient and, if they don't all hatch right away, leave it for a few days.

Awwww, how pretty! And the ole "had-to-pee" excuse... I prefer the "dog-woke-me-up" excuse! HAHAHA

and it looks like we had the same art teacher... our air cell circles look exactly alike! [IMG]

~I apologize... its Monday and I was off work last week, but had to come back today, and I'm having incubator withdrawls....
