a welsh male and rouen hens would be fine if thats what you want to do i have a indian runner male and cayuga hens and they work great together.

their gonna be your ducks so you gotta like them too. if your wanting egg production id just get all welsh but if your just want pretty pets that lay decent get whatever breed or breeds you like best as you have to care for them and love them

What breeds do you like? I think welsh harlequins are pretty along with cayugas and magpies. But that is my personal preference.

So.. anyways I've got duck eggs going into lockdown in a few days with 100% fertility not a clear in the bunch =) and lots of wiggling going on at last candle now I wait... planning what is going in the incubator space they're taking up will keep me busy
