Looks like it might be bumble foot. However it also looks like it might be not a severe case. This link is to Metzer on their suggested treatment http://www.metzerfarms.com/Bumblefoot.cfm another good site is http://www.fresheggsdaily.com/2012/03/bumblefoot.html best of luck.
Do not let your duck drink the water with ES it is also a laxative. keep soaking and try painting the bumble with blue kote and let us know if it helps. another inexpensive treatment is soaking in ES then applying colorless iodine over the bumble wait 3 days then soak again and paint the c iodine over bumble has to be colorless. the epsom salt and iodine should bring the bumble to the surface then all you'll have to do is pull off the scab and pick out the bumble keep soaking till it is healed and use the iodine every three days. Thanks for the help. I will get some spray stuff for infections. I only have blue kote. I did put him in a tub with epsom salt.
What a face.

Make sure it is the clear kind and I just slap it on and let it dry then they are off. I've had good success with just being able to put that on daily and it going away if I catch it early enough.I knew about the no drinking es water. I had my daughter keep him in the tub for 10-15 min to soak. Would I wrap his foot still if I use iodine? I cant even remember the last time I bought iodine. Thanks for the advice![]()
