Call duckies! <3 Heh, I still remember the first time I got goldfish for my lil' terrors. They didn't have a clue what to do with them. Wobbles got the hang of it after about 15 minutes but Bean just did not have a handle on the situation at all. I had to catch some in a cup for her, and even then it took a full 90 seconds of side-eye and half-hearted bill clacking before she got one. Then she gave me this look of shock, like she was saying "Whoa! Is there anything water CAN'T do?"

In regards to getting ducks from the feed store, I've gotten several, 4 mallards first, unsexed, ended up with 2 and 2. That was a store far from my home I am unfamiliar with, the other 4 ducks I got were local and sexed, 2 Cayuga and 2 WH, they were banded to differentiate as well and I'm certain if there were some mistake they would have helped correct it. Not always will it be the case that the person who sells a duck is going to know about a duck.

My ducks love gold fish, its been a while tho, should soon tho now that the new pond us up.

Their last bag, I bet they'd love another. Attimus i gave my ducks some goldfish i bought at walmart, they love it

I LOVE ducks, they're what got me started on chickens. Some pics:

the black broody hen in the last picture. Is this a broody cayuga duck. All accounts from google search said mine wouldnt brood. Will she?
