P.S Do ducks lay eggs all year long?
A welsh harlequin might. Most don't. You can find "egg lay rate" info in most breeder pages and in the livestock conservancy website
They have to be able to take breaks along the way through the year or it will take it's toll on their body.Egg laying breeds that get at least 14 hours of light per day will continue to lay eggs and not just Welsh Harlequins. My runner ducks lay year round. Pekins, Anconas, khakis, et al all lay By photo cycle.

Some of the more prolific layers do, but they don't usually lay an egg every single day. I've read stories of ducks that lay almost every day, though, like 350-360 eggs per year. I'm thinking those were Campbells.
