Thanks, I'm soooo happy, he is chirping and louder when I talk to him and he trys to walk, looks so funny!! What about the first one that hasn't done anymore but has his bill hanging out of the small hole? The other eggs haven't done anything at all, u think they will do anything?

I bet it is funny. I've never seen a NB duck. I'm no expert so please wait for the others to chime in. I would help the little guy if it's been more than 24 hrs. Can you tell if he's still breathing? Eggs can hatch over a few days so don't give up on the others

Hey all, my one duck has pipped and made a little hole I can see his beak, he's still breathing, he's been like this since 7pm EST, it is now 1027pm EST, he's not zipping should I intervene at this point or wait. Thanks

3 hrs? That's not very long at all for ducks... unless it seems in distress I'd leave it for now... pic you posted looks good, not dried out or anything... be patient, ducklings love to take their time... then they hit the floor with 2 webs going 90mph, lol...

I've had one sit for 3 days... yolk sac may not be absorbed yet... does it seem to be in distress??

Any peeping? Has the peeping gotten weaker? Does it struggle a lot or just some poking?

Usually if they are in distress they start to move less and are less active, stop peeping as much, etc. Personally if you're not seeing any signs of shrink wrapping I'd let him be for a while longer - ducks can take a long time to hatch! I've even heard stories of some taking 48 hours! If you help too soon you're risking causing a bleed out or him not having absorbed his yolk. If you are really worried about him, you could try helping him following the guide that Ren posted, but if you see blood at all you need to stop.
