I WANNA KISS YOUR AVATAR.Well he is adorable I hope she can find him some friends because raising a only duckling especially one that is a drake can be interesting once they hit puberty I know because I did it. I just hope she will be prepared to take it on. It ain't easy. lol
A big cardboard box!! Or bathtub is what I use but seriously why would you bring them in at night? The only time mine are in the house is when they have a health issues ducks are very cold hardy millions of ducks survive every winter. As long as they are safe from predators and have at least a windbreak they should be fine outdoors no matter how cold now keeping water available unfrozen might be another issue! Ha ha
Do they have an outside house that is secure and draft free? as long as they have a safe draft free place to get they should be fine. Ducks are pretty tough characters. they wear a down jacket under their feathers and if they get cold they lay on their legs and feet. If we bring our birds in to an area where it's warm and they go inside and out they are more susceptible to illness than if they are left out side.Yeah but you see this is not only my first time having ducks and their first winter. But I also spoil them rotten so even the thought of them possibly getting cold is horrible to me.

How old are they @Lamaremybabies I must have missed that I didn't know they were ducklings.Yeah I made them a house so they can be outside when they were getting old enough to deal with the temp outside.
