What the heck do i do with this? Its worse than i thought

Holy cow! I think you are meant to cut some of it out and put an ointment on it but I have never had to do it myself.

My husband was not in the mood to help much so we picked a bit of the scab off and sprayed it with vetericyn and wrapped it up good. I'll try and get her to soak again in the tub and rewrap it. I'll just have to do what I can myself. Vets around here are useless when it comes to birds; I could barely find one to euthanize my rabbit a few years ago. All they do is cats and dogs, bah. Just the thought of doing that all again tomorrow is exhausting, and I'll probably have to do it by myself. Do it for the ducks... do it for the ducks... sigh

Thank you, it really helps a lot to have encouragement. It's just a bad night overall and we are both in crummy moods. Im trying not to get too frustrated at him or the situation. It's a stressful time in our lives and this bumble foot is just adding to it.

I totally understand, we lost a Saxony girl a month or so ago and we currently have 2 chickens in 'hen hospital ' and I don't have much hope for 1. It's so hard with birds cause there is often nothing you can do. Keep up the good work!

I don't think cutting us a good strategy... slow and steady at it would probably be best... I think Haunted55 made a good bumblefoot treatment thread, just search bumblefoot and haunted55 together and it should bring it up... otherwise, I would ask @Amiga for tips or links...

Good luck @PotatoWaffles, I hope your ducky feels better!

I had to move my welshie ducklings out of the house today, they were stinking up the place :sick But they've settled into their bigger brooder in the coop and this way they can grow up seeing their future boyfriends the whole time, which should make integration easier.

Now to get going on their new digs. I don't want them in the cemani coop any more, they're very messy and eight ducks will just be too many in there. So they're getting a brand new spiffy house. Just gotta get the materials and this weekend I'll get started.
