The ducklings are super cute! Is the yellow one's foot in the 4th picture okay?

Thank you! I didn't notice in the picture. I looked at her more closely today and yes, she looks like she has bowed legs and what I would call pigeon toed. Everyone else looks fine. Could it possibly be the niacin? I am feeding them Purina Flockraiser crumbles and I thought that would have the right mixture of protein and niacin and other things they needed. Where would I find niacin and how much should I give? Any help would be appreciated.

Oh poor girl! It might be niacin, I really don't know. I would guess Purina Flockraiser doesn't have enough niacin, but it might. I've never had to buy any niacin supplement so I'm unsure where to locate it, maybe you should start a thread so you get more info faster.

I got my first green egg today, it's Ellas first ever! It seems like yesterday she was just a tiny little duckling...

Bless her heart. How long have you had them? I think Purina Flockraiser is sufficient in Niacin but what were they on before you got them? I would definitely give additional Niacin at this time. I'm sure you will hear from someone who knows for sure real soon. Good luck.

We have had them for 2 weeks. We got them as day olds from Metzer Farms. I looked at all my other girls very carefully and she is the only one with this issue. Trying to get information quickly because most of the feed stores in our area are only open on Saturday's until Noon. Any help would be appreciated.

Up to 5 this morning!!!

Still trying to figure out how to set them up... keeping the drakes out and Momma's free to come and go while keeping the babies in....
@EmilyP Moms really aren't going to go anywhere for at least 3-4 days. So closing them up for a short time till ducklings get stronger won't hurt as long as you can provide feed and water for everyone. I don't know if your getting this cold spell but you want to make sure ducklings don't get separated from moms or they will chill.

Congratulations!!

@Gabby2016 Either plain niacin has to be plain or Food grade Brewers yeast. Not baking yeast but human food grade which can be bought at any health food store. Some feed stores carry animal grade BY too. if you go with plain niacin you need to mix 150 megs into 1 gal of water it will not hurt them all to be drinking this.

Or if you go with BY use 1 Tab to 1 cup of feed. till at least 10-12 weeks of age.

Very sorry to hear about Gabby

Just know your dogs have had duck so they are going to want to really get to these girls once you put them outside. A good sturdy safe pen and house is going to be needed. Hard ware wire[cloth] instead of chicken wire is much more secure.

Thankfully I have two ducks because my mallard headed down to the pond with the boys this morning. All 5 were under her when I came out, now they are under my welshie. But they are so adorably cute!!!
