Hopefully good news today. when I have one so close to hatching I don't take mom off the nest but I will peek under her to see if any have hatched. [if she is one that doesn't get up set.] most of my girls are so use to me messing with them they could care less. {quick peek mind you}

Todays the hatching day and there are no signs of external piping :/ maybe the shell is too hard? its 12pm

if not maybe they might hatch at night idk

when you get close to mom can you hear anything? I'd take a quick peek. Once I thought oh my gosh those ducklings will never hatch, then I went out and saw 10 lil heads peeking out from under mama. It does take a long time for them to get through the hard shell but that's what makes them strong, sometimes they do need help but if today is just hatching day I wouldn't be too worried. yet

its 10:33pm now and nothings happened since i went to check on them which was 2 hours ago, i'll probably have another peek at 12am but hopefully tomorrow they'll hatch, or at least like pip externally and awww thats cute, i cant wait for the others to come out when its there hatching day
