The EE braggers thread!!!

I ordered 30 straight run Easter Eggers from Schlechts that arrived today. About 15-16 of them are solid yellow and the others are mostly chipmunk-y. Could the yellow ones be the males? They also seem a bit aggressive and were attacking my finger (andbobbing their heads) when I waved a finger at them.

Most of the female Easter Egger(hatchery) chicks I've seen have a chipmunk pattern. Has anyone noticed a connection?

Thanks (and I hope this is the right place to post this).

Well they are beautiful! Is it someplace I can get a few too? YUM!
Oooooo.... I want BLUE egg laying SILKIES!!!!

However, the WheatEn coloring might mess up your beautiful blue/black colors - Aaaah - who CARES! They will be COOL!

Well if we could figure out how to get it there I could probably hook you up. Someone on the "New" Ameraucana thread said they looked like project culls so that's where I would start looking in your area. He said that they looked like they had crossed a AM Blue Wheaton to a Buff to try to get size. I want to cross the red/blue roo with my silver pullet and see what I get. Some one on that sight called EE's Eastercanas too I like that so that is what I'm going to call my lovely birds. I think it will be fun to start a project just to see what different kinds I can get. I have even thought about getting rid of my Leghorn roo so that all my eggs will be EE. I wonder what would come out of my lemon roo and a Australorp. and it begins.....
