35 EE & OE hatched ;-) such cute little buggers! These are from 6 different hens, 3 EE girls, 2 Welsummers and 1 Wellie/leghorn cross, and my Red roo. His coloration is very similar to a Welsummer. Lots of chipmunk stripes and some wild eyeliner going on. Some with smooth faces and some with huge cheek puffs. All very cute. Will get some more closeups tomorrow

Thanks, a good laugh to start the morning!
The chicks were very good models for their 4 week photoshoot today. As I've mentioned before, I got mixed breed chicks, and I think I'm getting them sorted out now. I'm new at this so my guesses could be completely off.
These two are definitely non-standard Ameraucana/EE's- slate legs, tuft cheeks. I'm hoping to get some gorgeous blue eggs out of these (??)girls(??), although the one more brown on it's head on the right still has me wondering...
These two still have me guessing. Olive just started acting and looking more like an Oliver in the past couple of days, and Poe seems like a girl, but the comb has me unsure as well. Her coloring and stance seems pullet to me thought.
The last two, Penny and Hank. I actually think Hank is a wheaten Marans, but I'm not positive. I think I'll go over to that thread and see what people think...
Cute! I love the one with the white and red
