The EE braggers thread!!!

my babies started laying yesterday
400

I just ordered three chicks... yay! That'll make 17... hehehe.
I ordered one EE
One BR
And one White Leghorn.
I hope this EE has a beard/muffs, I think they're so cute! Last year I ordered two EE's, one was muffless and she was PURE white (Cleo, still have her) And one was the normal golden EE (Eagle, she died at like 2 weeks though.)

Here are some updated pics of the frizzled EE chicks I posted a while back. They are now two days shy of two weeks. The top and middle one are the ones that I initially sexed as female and both have white (the top one has a white patch under its chin that one of these days I will get a shot of). The middle one is all black and I sexed as male. I think that the top two are looking boyish by the lack of tail feathers, but time will tell.

And just because this is the EE braggers' thread...Here are some SBEL's:

Top one is supposed ot be a boy and the bottom one is supposed to be a girl. Again, time will tell for sure.

My mom got a couple of Blue Laced Red Wyandottes at the feed store a few weeks ago. They were straight run and if one of them is a male, I'm going to borrow him for some EE experiments. I have two Ameraucana pullets (one black and one silver) that are rather small in size but I know are pure for laying blue eggs. The BLR pattern is so pretty and according to the chicken calculator it would make some wild-looking stuff over a silver hen.

You can't tell the final feathering by their juvenile feathering. I had a few with that barring pattern in their juvenile feathers that grew up to look like the majority of EEs on here. The top chick looks like my girls, the bottom chick looks like one of my boys.
