Too cute!! I love the egg tooth on there!

Hey, I have a question for anyone who'd like to answer; about how much do Easter Egger roosters weigh and how tall are they? Thanks!

I would like to answer, but I never measured or weighed my boys (or girls) so I can't really answer

Since I don't know where you are looking to get them, you would have to guess basing it on what the parents were. Since EEs are mixes - you need to know who is in the mix to get that information.

Most of mine were from the feed stores, but they get them from different hatcheries so the size would change. The last ones I got were larger than some of my early boys. I would say the last boy I bought is about as tall as my Isbar is, probably a bit lighter weight (leghorn in there). I gave him away with some girls I sold - so I don't have him around to weigh/measure for you any more. I am using the Isbar Roo for EEs now (I like the blue).

Hope this helps some ...

I think it would all depend on on what they are mixed with.

This is a picture of one of mine with Black Australorp hens behind him.

Another with a Brown Leghorn.

I hope these help give perspective, but I don't know the cross of them.

Thanks! It does help! I have 13-week old EE's right now, three Roos and three hens, they came from a feed store.

The hatchery EE are 6-7 pounds avg hen. Roo 8-9 lbs Mine are bigger. I crossed them with Marans and Ameraucanas. So my normal EE hens are 8-9 lbs. My roo is almost 14lbs. I have a couple hens that are 10-11 lbs. But the 2 hens I have from the feed store are 6-7 lbs. They can also be smaller or larger depends on the parents. EE's are mutts that carry the blue egg gene so anything goes!

Bluebell is a big girl almost 11lbs an OE the smaller red one in the back is a 6 lbs girl.

This guy was the prettiest rooster I have hatched. He had a V shaped comb. But he was only 7 lbs a small guy. I sold him. I chose size over color. It's bad when the girls are bigger than you and beat you up. Poor Spotty Scotty

This is the roo I kept with some girls. He has an odd comb. Kind of short and lumpy in the front and then it goes flat and to a long point.

We picked up a month old EE baby this weekend! (The black one in the front if you couldn't tell)

Can't wait to see how her coloring turns out!
