The EE braggers thread!!!


These are the second and third eggs laid by my EE, Si. I am sooooo happy that she finally decided to lay for me!

She was almost 29 weeks old when she laid her first egg which broke when I picked it up. Oh my.... Chicken math fever is taking over. I am asking Santa for another EE and a BCM or Welsummer for Christmas. LOL!!!

Well... if my DH can buy a new truck, then I should at least get 2 more chickens.... Right??

BTW.. the egg on the bottom is mint green and the top egg is a little more light olive.

Nice eggs!Chickens were on my christmas list too, just larger quanities lol. 15 ameraucana chicks from paul smith, 2 dozen hatching eggs from ken weaver, and just found some more hatching eggs from a fellow BYCer that I want. probably wont get them, but family sure did get a kick out of it. And i was being serious

I already have chickens EVERYWHERE. I dont think i want to know how bad it is going to be when I am at the age of retirement.lol. I have plans for a dream barn (that wont happen forever) that can easily hold 400 birds. Thats why I call it my dream barn! lol
