Madonna is 14 1/2 now...Merry Christmas to her..she escaped another Coyote or ? attack last week that took Betty...Madonna hid on a patio table behind some pots and didn't go to her coop, so I thought she was gone too..so glad she was safe with the other 4...

Im so excited! We are getting a EE chick in April! I can post things about EEs again. It's sexed to be a female so I'm happy bout that.

I just got my new EE from Pips & Peeps. She is a beautiful black EE. She is about 20 weeks old, so I hope for eggs in a month or two. Right now she is not real happy with me, but I will try to get a picture of her when things calm down.

But... Smoke, my BSL is refusing to come out from under the toy hauler. She is the lead hen, so when I do get her in the pen, it could get interesting...

This is Rufus. I think what I like most is that all his black parts shine indigo blue.

We picked up our first EE. A big rooster that will have the company of 6 Red Stars and 28 Cochins. So far he is very gently. Moderate crowing in morning. Not a problem.
